our wines

Established in 1992 by Chris and Maria Tsatsaris, Baxter Valley Estate produces wonderful fruit that is an excellent example of the great varieties that the Mornington Peninsula has to offer.

Shiraz, Cabernet & Pinot line the drive on the front block and out on the back block we have Cabernet, Merlot, Shiraz, Pinot, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. We are looking forward to introducing a Rose as a part of the 2018 Vintage. Our grapes are hand picked and the wines are made on site so every step of the process involves our family & friends.

Our wines can be purchased at the cellar door to take home with you or if you get in touch with us we can arrange free local delivery.

2020 TREAND Peninsula Pinot Gris (Mornington Peninsula)

Lychee & apricots along with some lovely floral characters makes this delicious fresh white wine, perfect with lunch or a cheese platter.

2020 TREAND Scooter’s Run (Baxter Valley Estate)

Named for our Uncle John who is affectionately known as ‘Scooter’ – this wine is something a little different! A field blend of Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc – the SB takes the front seat with passionfruit on the nose and stone fruit on the palate whilst the Chardonnay balances it with crisp citrus and great acidity.

2020 TREAND Miss Em Pinot Rose (Baxter Valley Estate)

Dry and dusty mouthfeels with a pleasant green crunch that has hints of rhubarb about it. Tree bark characters with subtle tannins.

2019 TREAND Pinot Noir (Baxter Valley Estate)

Dusty fungal characters on the nose, lots of spice and berries in the mouth with pleasant earthy flavours that linger. A fantastic Mornington Peninsula pinot that is great with food or on it’s own!

2018 TREAND Reserve Pinot Noir (Baxter Valley Estate)

A lovely light pinot that has a pleasant fresh style. Dry & dusty green woody characters with delicious berries as well as a great acidity that will cellar well.

2018 TREAND Merricks Pinot Noir (Merricks, MP)

A different, richer, style of pinot – ripe & smoky with a deliciously tart yet sweet character and hints of paper bark.

2019 TREAND Cabernet Merlot (Baxter Valley Estate)

Delicious cedar on the nose and palate has berries, hints of menthol and some pleasant dusty characters. Pleasant tannins that are softened with the Merlot.
